A leader in organic agri-food in Quebec, Rheintal is a 2nd generation family business established in Centre-du-Québec since 1979. Proud heir to the values, know-how and passion of her parents for organic farming, Guylaine Buecheli took over the business in 2008. Her experience on the farm, her studies in marketing and the acquisition of expertise in food processing drawn from Quebec, Switzerland and France ensure her full contribution to the development of the business.
"Being a certified organic company is already a distinction."
The Rheintal team is made up of epicureans concerned about healthy and tasty food. Their supply from organic producers and certified animal-welfare producers allows them to access a high-quality raw material, hence the creation of exceptional foods with a unique, authentic taste. Aware of its close link with the environment and motivated by a constant desire to innovate, Rheintal works continuously to improve its agri-food practices and reduce its ecological footprint.
A little bit of their story...
The name Rheintal originates in the Rhein Valley in Switzerland where Heidi Buesser and Hans Buecheli bought a small farmhouse on the mountainside in 1969. They had no idea then what an adventure was awaiting them, an impressive journey that would exceed all expectations.
