Pressed and cooked organic firm paste farmstead cheese. Ripened for over 9 months, this cheese has a gold to copper coloured rind. The smooth paste holds a bouquet of delicate aromas of cream, hazelnut, wild flowers and wood smoke. The word “ménestrel” means minstrel, a wandering entertainer of old who would sing and tell stories to amuse the folk.
